The Grob Tutor

The Grob G115E Tutor has replaced the Scottish Aviation Bulldog as the Air cadet's primary air experience aircraft. Although flights can be on the other types of aircraft in the Royal Air Force, the large part of flying training for the average cadet will be conducted in this aircraft. The Tutor is a side by side seating, training aircraft which is perfectly suited to teaching cadets how to fly. This will range from the early principles of flight through to aerobatics (if so desired by the passenger). The aircraft are shared between air experience flights of the Air cadets and University Air Squadrons which are located around the country and flown by regular RAF and RAFVR pilots.

In addition, selected cadets can receive overseas or Opportunity Flights in a variety of aircraft both military and civil.
